Redwood Art Association - 63rd Fall Exhibition
An in-gallery judged exhibition with awards
This exhibition made possible by the generous support of Eureka Natural Foods
August 25 - September 25, 2021
Judge: Meriel Stern
Judge Comments: "I am grateful to Lindsay Kessner and the Board for inviting me to judge your show, and for the
opportunity to see first hand the work of so many dedicated, skillful and prolific artists!
Beautifully installed in a lovely space, the work shows a wide range of perspectives, approaches
and media that make judging a challenge. In essence, what I was looking for were these
qualities: a knowledge and mastery of the materials, a unique or unexpected point of view, and
that special something, a little mystery perhaps, that keeps us coming back to look for more. I
spent a lot of time looking at each work in the show, and a great many stood out as having
these qualities, but here are the pieces that caught, and held my attention."
